Every summer Jordan and his family travel in their RV to visit a national park in the United States. They have been to at least 10 different parks. Jordan joined the family adventures when he was two years old. One thing they do is to take a family photo in front of the sign for the park they are visiting. Jordan showed us his special Junior Ranger vest. For every park he visits he gets a badge. He also has a passport that gets stamped. Jordan and his dad taught us the pledge they have to make as a Junior Ranger.
One Park they visited was Yellowstone. There they saw an inactive volcano, geysers, hot springs and waterfalls. Jordan even got to go inside a waterfall. Another park they visited was the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. There he and his brother Chuck went sledding down the dunes on boards. When they are at the different parks, they see a variety of animals such as birds, wolves, bears, moose, elk, bison, squirrels, and prairie dogs. They like to hike to explore the parks.
